The political wayang kulit at Sin Chung must stop.

Penang Chief Minister Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon has been keeping mum since the day he was blocked by the developer from performing the ground-breaking ceremony of the new Sin Chung primary school building.

It was indeed a great embarrassment for the Yang Amat Berhormat.

Dr Koh should come out clean now, break his silence and assume political leadership and responsibility to resolve the Sin Chung impasse before the High Court review the Butterworth Sessions Court decision to allow the developer to demolish the school.

The Yang Amat Berhormat cannot shirk responsibility now, more so after his colleague,
Dr Toh Kin Woon had conceded that the State Government be blamed for allowing the Sin Chung controversy to end in the manner that we saw yesterday.

The crux of the problem is the failure to execute the transfer of the replacement land which stalemates the whole process of constructing the new school building.

The Yang Amat Berhormat cannot now claim innocence.

The political wayang kulit and show must stop now. It is time for real action before it is too late.
