I dont think its going to be applicable to non-muslims since syariah law only applies to muslims. It got me thinking why are we afraid of it? We are only afraid of punishment if we have done something wrong is it not? Xenophopic or racism should not have a place in our society. I am perfectly sure that no religion means harm to God's creation. Maybe if we learn abt Islam through the proper channel we might find that it is not a religion filled with terror. The punishment is not something that PAS, UMNO or any other party or government came up with to scare the pants out of anyone! For you to object or to ask for Mahfuz of PAS to withdraw his calling clearly reflects that you do not have any idea as to what the Laws of God, Allah the Almighty is with regard to the crime of apostasy in Islam for Muslims. Feel free to do a study as to the why's, what's, if's , how's, so's about the subject before interfering in the matters tht concern Apostasy in Islam.
