Speak up,everybody out there.
There is a poll on the GE conducted at:
http://www.malaysia-today.net/2008/
The poll is being manipulated and spiked by the UMNO/BN cyber troopers.
When it first started, the poll showed about 8% in for the Barisan and 92 % for The Opposition and it stayed that way for many days ,then there was a spike and it went up to about 11.2% and then dropped slowly to 10.7% yesterday mid-night at about 12.00am.Suddenly today at about 1.35 pm it shot up to 13.4 %.I believe it has been actively spiked by BN/UMNO agents.
The BN / UMNO cyber troopers are at work actively spiking the poll.
Visit the site and cast your vote so that it reflect the true sentiments of the RAKYAT.
Again pleas call all your friends to do so to ,otherwise The BN/Umno with the paid agents will spike the polls to influence the less informed and neutral voters.
Victory or Death

BEWARE!!! The Penang Chief Minister fracas churned out by Koh Tsu Khoon may be a trap.
The voters ( fence-sitters especially ) may swing back to vote the Gerakan/BN candidates in the three related constituencies ( Padang Kota, Pulau Tikus & Machang Bubuk ) if they were confused by this trap that their Gerakan/BN candidates will have a chance to be the next CM.

Fellow Malaysians,
Yes, the wind of change is blowing now.
Let us not lose our focus and momentum. We shall call upon all our friends and relatives to vote for the Oppositions for a better Malaysia. BN is becoming too arrogant and is not listening to rakyat, lets give BN a tight slap.
As we all know, BN is becoming very very desperate now. Let us especially those help up in the election monitoring and the vote counting/verifying be VERY VERY ALERT and VERY VERY VIGILANT, don’t let anyone to have any excuse to go wrong. We should voice up, protest and report it if we found something wrong.
Don’t let our guard down and vote for a better Malaysia.

Heartiest Congratulations to ALL candidates of DAP for the HUGE Success on winning over Penang!!
Dear Mr. Chow,
There are rumours saying that Han Chiang High School’s nameboard has been taken down and may be ordered to shut down as a “punishment” for lending school compound to DAP for purpose of having ceramah. I certainly hope that this is not true. I hope that Han Chiang High School could be retained in it’s original way or even better.
Thank You.

Around Georgetown, the previous govt has revitalised positively Upper Penang Road for tourism. At Campbell St, a nightly pasar malam imitating Petaling St in KL, has been initiated and hope it will succeed in the long term. At Beach St, opposite India House, a row of pre-war shophouses has been renovated extensively to bring back some life to that area of Beach St. However it seems the final completion stopped and thereafter nothing was done for almost 2 years now. Whether it is a private or govt effort, I hope the new govt can check the current status. Is there bureacratic redtape somewhere? It should be completed and opened as soon as possible to usher in the new govt. And at Church St Pier, it has been revitalised into a Yacht Pier/Club etc but at great cost. It does not really benefit the rakyat but another tourism project. How many rakyat can own a yacht? Ironically, not far away is one of the rakyat’s transport between the island and Butterworth vice versa - Penang’s iconic ferry service. PENGKALAN RAJA TUN UDA has seen better days 20 years ago. It still looked the same today. The new govt must make an effort to push for a new terminal and probably renamed it PENGKALAN RAJA PETRA (Great Grandson Of Tun Raja Uda) for his part in making 8 March 2008 a reality, many historic first since 1969. It carefully planned many will prefer the ferry as it is fast, cheap, comfortable and reliable. It need not spend RM billions but the effort will be PRICELESS. Managed well, I believe it will not lose money unlike now. Anyway, it is not for the money but the rakyat. Some funds from mega projects can be channelled here. A public consensus will definitely say YES, DO IT!! I recalled there was a group of USM students, a few years ago, that came up with a modern design for a new terminal and it appeared in The Star paper but it ended just there. The govt was not interested eventhough it was in the rakyat’s interest. I guess it was because they couldn’t make money out of it.

To my beloved DAP leaders,
Hope this message get to your CEC members as well.
Why you want to sour the already fragile relationship with PAS, at a time where you can work towards strengthening it? PAS has shown willingness to discuss Barisan Rakyat and we rakyat is happy to see the formation of Barisan Rakyat to realize the dream of 2-party system, as long as it carry a mandate of secular state for Malaysia.
And why such a flip-flop? Where is DAP’s integrity? DAP Perak pledged to abide by Sultan of Perak’s choice of Menteri Besar just a day earlier. Why DAP CEC rejects it? Why not discuss this among PAS, PKR and DAP? Why does it has to go public, and in such high profile? You guys are not better than Pak Lah nor BN in handling such situation.
Your report card is already tainted. Go mend the fence now and take corrective action immediately.
regards,
Gerald Khor
ps: Don’t know which email address to use thus use whatever email addresses I know to hope to get my message across.
ps: No doubt my folks back in my hometown Taiping and Port Weld will be scared to hell to have a PAS Menteri Besar, and is probably already blaming me for convincing them to vote PAS and PKR (for Port Weld, or better known as Kuala Sepetang), I am sure they are willing to give it a try, as long as there is no Islamic rules and daily routines not affected by the Menteri Besar appointment.

Subject: Strong disappointment on DAP’s decision over Perak Menteri Besar
Dear YB Karpal Singh, YB Lim Kit Siang, YB Lim Guan Eng,
As a supporter of DAP that believe strongly in “Malaysian’s Malaysia “, I wish to express my strong disappointment on DAP’s decision to disapprove Perak Sultan’s selection of the next Menteri Besar (from a PAS representative). At the very least, please respect the choice made by Sultan Azlan Shah.
We just witness a new era in Malaysia politics after 8th March that gave so much hope to the people of this lovely nation. The loose pact between DAP, PAS and PKR scored big win in GE2008. Please keep up the good work and strengthen the pact. In fact, you guys should just formalize the pact and form Barisan Rakyat as suggested by many concerned Malaysians. Chinese voted for PAS and Malay voted for DAP on 8th March. I personally called my family members to make sure they vote no BN candidates. It is time that DAP seriously consider formalizing a pact with PAS and PKR. PAS seems to come a long way and is becoming more moderate. A pact should be made if PAS can drop their mandate to form an Islamic country.
Please don’t let this pact break away because of selection of Perak Menteri Besar. It is no doubt an important post but the next General Election will be even more important. The bigger task for DAP, PAS and PKR is to prove to the rakyat that you guys can be good government, starting with showing good results in Kedah, Kelantan, Penang, Perak and Selangor. It is a bad start to score an “E” for this fiasco. Furthermore PAS has given its words to work closely with the coalition government in Perak, and DAP has more seats and have been promised the most EXCO members. Give and take will go a long way for this young coalition.
I am a Chinese from Taiping and I have no problem seeing a PAS representative as Perak’s Menteri Besar, as long as there is no Islamic rules (as yet) like those in Kelantan. Given the Constitutional constraints and the state’s demographics, it is fair to have a Malay State Assemblyman to be appointed as Menteri Besar with a Chinese and Indian Naib Menteri Besar representing the other two major races.
The rakyat is still trying to grasp with the new scene in Malaysia politics. For me hailing from Perak, I know it is not easy for the Chinese in Perak to accept a PAS rep as Menteri Besar but we are ready to give him a chance to perform. People voted him (and his coalition government) in this time round. People can vote him out the next time. And we hope DAP will put national interest before party to give this man a chance to perform with his comrades in the Perak State Assembly as well.
If DAP cannot resolve this fiasco properly, all the manifestos and promises given pre-election will not be relevant anymore. Walk-the-talk. Integrity is everything. Otherwise DAP is no different from any BN component parties. And I will regret very much the thousands of dollar donation I made to DAP Malaysia in Jan and Feb 2008.
Thank you for your attention.
regards,
Gerald Khor

Dear Lim Guan Eng,
I have been following the development of domestic and international politic for about 10 years. Myself is a professional and following the progress of politic is one of my interest.
Congratulations!! to all DAPsy especially Lim Guan Eng.
I am writing in to share my view with Lim. Mr. Lim, you are the greatest gainer in the last election and please do not forget that the future of all the opposition groups especially DAP lies on you shoulder now! I would say after a joyful celebration is followed with a very very huge challenge.
Lim, may I advise you that you shall not talk to much to please the people now because whatever you say now will be pulling you down tomorrow! You shall remember the mistake that committed by Pak Lah when he won the previous election. Pak Lah gave too much spoken hope to the people and now you can see what is happening.
Your policy for Penang shall be just to please the people in the shot term and broke the account of the state government in the long run!
This is the first chance that the people gave to DAP and it might be the last one if it is not handled properly!
We are mostly professional and we know very well that some of the policy that is against the logic will never work!
Lim, please do not get carried by this small little victory because this might be your last if you don’t run the state government properly! We don’t want a clown to be our leader .
We are watching every move you make and we will decide again after 5 years!
tAHNK YOU.

Several months ago, when Bersih and Hindraf brought some of their woes to the government by protesting on the street, immediately the tabloids and a campaign emerged ‘Malaysians Against Street Protest’. Resulting of these protests, the Hindraf leaders were slammed into jail under ISA.
Today, in Penang we can see that some of UMNO leaders went into the street protest and this time is is on the Malay’s rights. I will not be surprised anyone will be in ISA for today’s protest.
So, this can clearly show that who is double standard the ‘rakyat’. When the Indians protest, it is ISA. When the Malays protest, it is alright.

By looking at the “Riot” by UMNO penang few days ago, can someone please tell them.
1) Penangites denied them because they have problems. The “riot” shown was 1 of their problems (budaya samseng), not respecting the choice of people. We denied them by legal way but they still want to protest in illegal way.
2) We denied the Barisan Nasional’s government don’t mean that we deny the developement of the state or the country. The UMNOs know how to shout very loud but when they lost the benefits, they are willing to “sell” the state/the goodwills of the penangites just because they lost their benefits?
3) The developement is with the Barisan Nasional(government), not with the UMNOs. Everyone in this country is responsible in developing the country regardless you are BN or opposition. Even when the BN is PG government, the opposition never ask to stop/deny the developement of the state. but UMNO is the only one now, when they lost the power/benefits. Is this the party that we trusted for the past 50 years.
I just hope DAP, PKR nor PAS can stand still in their promises, not to be “threatened” by UMNOs dirty tricks. For the benefits of the people in this country.

We are the voters who had voted for the DAP in the Tanjung Bunga constituency for the first time to just jom change it and the DAP did it.
But today we are very disturbed when we read the Sin Chew Daily dated 17-03-08 that the newly elected Tanjung Bunga state assemblyman will be missing in action for months to pursue his hobby of cycling adventure to places which are of no concern to us. Mr. Chow and Lim Guan Eng, have you selected a wrong candidate for us in this very critical constituency ? Right now we will be having a selfish DAP assemblyman who seems to put his self interest as a priority to the expence of the tax payers. We are not interested in his adventurous dream, what we want is a state assemblyman who is always available to attend to the peoples’ problems at all time. We can ill afford a MIA assemblyman. Please take action immediately to knock his head out of his dream before he damages the image of the DAP.
The DAP Penang State Government and the other state assembly persons will not have a long period of time to out perform the ex-BN govt. You guys, DAP assembly persons and members must start to work very hard starting from now unless the DAP wants to be only a one-term state govt.
The Penangites and of course BN ( Wounded but not dead ) will be all eyes on you guys.
So watch what you say and do, at all times to keep the enemies at bay.
