<description>Pardon me for wrong thread posting, but i can't seem to find a topic for Rapid Penang exclusively. I wonder at what time did the empowered MPPP, JPJ &amp;amp; police at Komtar Bus Terminal off duty?
that's because when all those empowered personnels has gone back, the rival bus drivers soon started their nonsense again by parking at Lane 1 &amp;amp; Lane 2 to block Rapid buses. I personally saw KGN Hin bus &amp;amp; Milan bus which stopped at Lane 1 during these few days.
I hope YB Chow would soon find a permanent solution to this, i understand that things cannot be changed overnight, but at least there is a good start to it.
Thanks for your time to read this.

Yes, we have received similar reports. Some of the drivers may be desperate to earn enough to survive. As a short term measure, we hope enforcement would be able to deter the drivers. But a long term solution is still needed.

<description>I appreciate the encouragement for recycling. But as you know very well, recycling bins aren't widely distributed at all throughout Penang. What I personally wish to see are recycling bins parked outside my house instead of the ubiquitous green MPPP bin.

I have quite a guilty conscience regarding my lack of recycling, so I try to recycle as much kitchen waste as possible by turning them into compost. However, plastic can't be recycled as easily, and through experience, I found out recyclers won't recycle glossy paper as well. I don't have the statistics, but that would seem quite a sizeable amount being disposed of in landfills.

And if you would allow me to, I wish to direct you to the town of Curitiba, which has a remarkable example of a successful public transportation system.

I think with time, Penang would be able to emulate this city as well.
